On a phone you have to open and close each one individually. Compound that by all the photos not enlarged here daily and it becomes unmanageable.

I thought English as well but here is the sig on the painting which doesn't appear to be english. I enhanced the pic a little so the signature would stand out more.

There always have been a fair number of foreign names in Britain.

There is a village called Upton Swan near Malvern that looks a bit like that but so do hundreds of others.

When posting, select 'Full Image' not 'Thumbnail' which is the default.

Thanks guys for the info. I Googled the Upton swan and it does have a similar look to it and the houses had a similar style. King of things when I post I usually post pics from my computer. I did this from my phone so maybe it might have made my pics smaller. I'll try to remember to click the full image option next time

Generic English-European countryside picture. I have a watercolor that my husband picked up in Spain that could hang side by side with this one and you'd never know where it was supposed to be.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Sometimes you can if it's posted as a FULL IMAGE within your original post!!
The VERY TOP image after you've uploaded gives you that option!!

ok thanks for the info! also one quick question. that brownish color infront of the houses is that part of the paint or did the artist leave that unpainted too look like a dirt road/trail from the geese/hens or is it from the paper turning brownish color? was just curious about it
