Short intro....

Hey everyone....I joined yesterday and received some great feedback on my drafting table...thanks again for everyone who reached out to me. Thought I'd officially introduce myself. I'm an interior designer and home stager in Florida who has recently started collecting and researching antique/vintage furniture and other items. It's always so fascinating to think that these items had a previous life, isn't it?

You do realize, don't you, that you will have to be "on-call" 24-7 to dissuade anyone from using a chisel, screwdriver, coarse steel-wool pad, or copper pad to remove "grunge" from "delicate" items?

Lol, I can do that! I really like your name too. I was just looking at a wood desk I purchased and I found carved under the top "love you Jessica". I LOVE that this desk has a history that still lives on. I've always loved the word "patina"...growing up I lived overseas and bought gold and copper, etc. I loved seeing my gold jewelry create a beautiful patina over time as well as my copper pieces. I still love patina but now mainly on vintage/antique furniture! I still love copper too
