Caravelle Watch

Hi Everyone,

This Caravelle watch belonged to my great aunt. I received it as a gift from a woman who I met by chance a few years back who just happened to know her.
The watch is 10K gold (as indicated by the stamp on the clasp), it winds and works perfectly.
I would like some help with identifying how old this watch is and any potential value. The only one I was able to find online was at a police auction, and the information was sparse.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

Think 1950s and minimal value, sorry.

 

No earlier than 1962. From the following website:

Here's a more accurate date for your watch. The "N3" on the back of your watch is the date code. N = 1970s and the 3 is the year in that decade, 1973.

If the band is 10K it would have some value, but it is gold filled

 

Yes, 10k GP or GF means either gold plated or gold filled. Usually it would be gold filled as it's thicker than gold plating and wouldn't wear off so quickly when worn daily.
