Need advice on large mirror

    I would like to find out more about this mirror 120x107cm. The wooden frame is hand carved and the mirror itself is quite distinctive. Any idea of its age or history? Thanks

    It'a an attractive mirror, but I am doubtful about being hand-carved. In addition, the material that backs the glass is modern pressed board. The stenciled letters and numbers on the back are a clue.

    Maybe made in Pasuruan, East Java, Indonesia.

    Not hand carved - machined and post 1950.....

    and my first thought is that used in a bar for decor.! I saw one similar..and it had the bar name in the center.
