I need assitance pricing an E. Howard pocket watch. As seen in the attached photos, the inside of the case says E. Howard Watch Co., but I cannot find an identical watch anywhere online. The face of the watch has a shield/crest and words I cannot read - Fince Conter? I also have no idea if it is real gold plated or not. The inside of the case has a little bit of rust coming through and the color is orangish, so I'm assuming it is not gold. I've wound the watch and it does work. It is 1.75" in diameter. So, do you think this is rare or a fake?

Can anyone point me to an estimated value? If it's worthless, that's absolutely fine. I just need to know. My research has come up empty handed. As always, thank you so much!

It is also monogrammed on the back.

The small size may indicate a ladies watch.
The absence of purity marks may mean that it's a base metal .
The monogram may lower the value , but in this case it's pretty..so maybe not much.
I need you to show a photo of the movement , to see it's quality.
This was likely made for the E,Howard Co, not by them.
A collector of Boston area items may pay more than the watch is actually worth.

Well, it has immediate bids on Ebay. So, I'm guessing collectors like it's uniqueness. I was honest about not knowing what it's made of and the rust spot. I guess I'll let the bidders decide the worth! Thanks for the info.
