Not totally antique, but don't know where else to go to get a good answer. Bought this at a sale, seller said it is Harley Davidson. About 12" long and 4 1/4" wide. What is it?

To me it looks like it is something made by a craftsman & purchased at one of the biker's rallies around the country. Anything made by Harley Davidson usually has a company mark somewhere.

As far as what it was used for, I was going to say a luggage tag until I saw the size of it & so now I do not have a clue.:confused:

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

Agreeing with craftsman idea. Real leather-dressers like to cover every inch of themselves and their bikes in emblems and leather, so this could be designed to fit an area on an area of bike or body, I betcha.

Looks like a slapjack/blackjack, does it have a weight inside at one end?

    There is no weight.

Looking at it maybe its a back fender decoration? The strap is too small for the leg or a bikers arm. It has to be a bike accessory.
