So just to get that handle tested and I might have some real peace

 

Have they said how they are going to test it?

Some do a scratch test, Be careful they don't damage it.

 

I didn't speak with the guy yet. Not sure how he is going to do it or if he is going to be able to do it.

In the past he checked some silver coins and gold bars for me.

 

If you know the person who's testing it then it should be ok.
I always go to the same jeweller.....I keep saying I'm going to buy a kit and have a go at testing myself.

Buying a kit was my first thought. Something I have never done before so why not

No I don't think there is any UK forums, Pity really as the antiques found in the US differ a lot to what I find here.
