Featured Sake Bottle Glaze

    Can someone tell me what this glaze might be called? Maybe a flambe type?

    I don't know but there is a glaze called hare's fur that reminds me of part of the glaze....I think.:confused:

    Some sort of rutile (a thin, runny, pretty glaze) blue stripes over an iron oxide brown, maybe - lots of ways to get brown, but that rutile look is very specific.

    As a potter, I've used similar glazes and they are usually called rutile blue or some variation. Perfect for a textured surface because it breaks nicely over the rise. Notorious for running and dripping for a studio potter.
