The stones on these 2 bracelets are quite worn/abraded and dull looking. Is there a way to polish them?
    Thanks! dull1.JPG

Turquoise and likely the way they're meant to be.

Your lovely bracelets have age, and so do the turquoises. Please don't polish the stones, it makes them look brandnew which makes the bracelets lose added collector's value.
If the current look bothers you, you can rub a tiny bit of oil on the tip of your finger, and wipe the stones with that. The stones will look better, without the surface being damaged.

Thank you both. I think leaving them as is sounds like a good idea.

Polish the bracelet. The stones will clean up at the same time. Use a liquid polish and an old worn tooth brush. Then Dawn dishwashing soap on the toothbrush to clean any polish residue.

Then use a drop of mineral oil as Any Jewelry suggested.

I will be selling them, and am reluctant to use oil, as it could be deceptive of their true condition. What do you think?

Maybe don't do anything if you are selling.
There are people who like these tarnished.
Me personally, I prefer my silver polished.

I'm with cluttered, if you're selling them, don't touch them.

The stones would need to be sanded smooth before any polishing.Sanding would probably damage the prongs.Let the buyer decide.

Nice pieces, and hard to find with original stones still intact. My mother and I had matching bracelets just like these, and were always loosing stones from them. Her quick fix was to replace them with a small lump of formed crayola crayon matching the color as closely as possible. Very few stones remained after wearing them for years. Personally, I like my silver polished too, and have found it sells better when the detail of the piece can been seen and appreciated, though all I ever use is a soft microfiber cloth, no polish, to remove the obvious surface dirt and allow the original beauty of the engraved work to shine, so to speak... when I see a piece that's dark and unclean, I wonder if it might have hidden flaws or repairs that can't be seen in photos.

Having said that though, your photos are great! Any imperfections (if there were any) would be easily seen by anyone looking to purchase.
