    Thanks folks!
Hope it is the real thing evelyb30!
I went to the thrift store today and saw another piece of Cathrineholm - turns out my bowl is really the bottom of the fondue pot and the piece I got today is the lid. Will have to keep checking to see if the rest of the pieces show up.

I found an unusual single sterling candle holder at the thrift a few weeks ago. There are numerous people that just walk the aisles for silver. I found the match at 1:00 PM the next day. Just put out.

Terry, my one thrift store is driving me crazy. Evidently someone donated a ton of Honora earrings set in sterling, probably the kind that come 6 to a box, and they are putting them out one pair by one pair... no use asking about it, that's how they roll. So when I can get down there, I check them out. Found four pairs already, but it is driving me nuts. And you will never find anything worthwhile at our GW stores here.

The watch is looking more and more like a waste of six bucks.(sigh) At least the fossil shell necklace is real.

Don't beat yourself up.... I would have picked it up..... as I said in another thread, we will all continue to make a mistake here and there, but overall, it works out.

A celluloid toy duck, 7" long, 5" high, by the Rheinische Gummi und Celluloid Fabrik Co. of Germany (called Schildkröt for their turtle-in-diamond mark). All I know of the date on this is that it's after 1930. The company is best known for its dolls.

Some of you may recall this plate that I really liked and oddly, I think, no one had purchased it in all this time.
Well the whole stock is 50% off because they are moving.....

Marked only ENGLAND. $1.00. No spring. Never had one. I tried searching duck, goose and swan and couldn't find anything similar.
