    Hi,
I took these apart and they are made of spelter on a marble base. The base is 3" x 4".
To me they look like a bird - would these be 1950/60s or earlier?
    Any information appreciated.
    Thanks for looking

They are birds......I'd say 1920's.....but base my thoughts purely on speculation, hearsay, & seeing the dark side of the moon for the 1st time.

The red felt on the bottom was likely placed there in the 60's or 70's when folks decided they didn't want their metal and stone carvings marring up the furniture .

No signature that I could see. I took them apart, nothing underneath.
So we agree they are birds, yea:) After my pipe thread I was worried I might have been seeing things on these, lol.

I'd look closer for the signature, it could be faint with that applied verdigris.
    Here is where to look.
