Help with Windsor Back Chair

Hi Everybody!!! A friend of mine sent me these pictures this morning and wanted to know if it was worth buying? Lol I know nothing about furniture. There is a half sticker on bottom, don't know if anyone could make that out. Does it look old? Thanks guys in advance for all you do here! Hope pictures will work. Legs aren't has short as they look.

 

Id say 40s or 50s , it almost looks like a valet chair , doesnt it ?

 

Looks like a well made chair but not terribly old. $50.00 for a single chair would be top of my market.

 

I think a little later 1960s.
Looks like the hard rock red maple that was popular at that time.

I wouldn't call this a Windsor. Looks like more of the head chair at the dining table. Captain's chair? But I could be wrong. I'll defer to whatever Brad says.

Similar to a classic Windsor comb-back but modified for some unknown reason. I find it a bit odd. Here is a classic windsor comb-back.....

 

Might be a designer's try at MCM design of a Windsor with a country take.



It doesn't really work for me. But in the 1960s, might have been right in style.
Me personally, still wouldn't call it a Windsor.
