Rolex watch help

If anyone can help with information on this watch it is appreciated. It is missing the back. The watch face seems smaller I’m not sure. No serial at the 12 and 6 or at 6 inside rim of bezel. Hoping it wasn’t on the missing back

Does the second hand sweep around or does it click click click around? if it sweeps it might be, if it clicks around its a fake.

It sweeps no ticking

 

I'm having trouble finding one with thick numbers...
dots instead of dashes..
a small triangle at 12 and small rectangle at 6...

& one that reads ZUBMARINER.........

 

The SUB in submariner looks like the letters are not level or even with each other or the rest of the word.. Am I being too picky?

 

No,there are a lot of things that look wrong for a Rolex in the OP's photos.

for 5 large...u better be picky !!! or...it's better to be picky...... or...pick this one up and toss it under a bridge...

 

I would never spend that kind of money on a watch.

I had one of these (real one), horrible to wear, clunky. Swapped it for a Koryo dynasty celadon and a Zenith "sporto" wristwatch, a far more elegant timepiece IMO

Weight is also off on the fakes. They're generally lighter.

Rolex are now quoting a 7 year waiting list for these Submariner Date models.

 

The Zubmariner, on the other hand...is readily available.......

You don't have to say authentic..... for me to figure that you were ' hoping ' it was, just by virtue of a missing serial number !!

If that's the only thing you mentioned regarding this watch.....without commenting on the poor quality copy of the face alone...... then I have every reason to believe you thought it was authentic.

I mean....Zubmariner........ my glasses are fine , thank you !!
