Featured Rhinestone Screw back earrings

Can you tell who made these from the construction? 1" wide, 7/8" tall. Thank you.

Sorry....no not yet......

 

They're D&E wanna-bes, but D&E didn't make screwbacks as far as I know. These were made most likely by one of the hundreds of Rhode Island or North Attleboro MA firms. There's no way to know which.

 

Last night I read that D & E did make screwback earrings for a short time. I will try and find the link and post it.

I have my doubts that those are D&E. Though they put D&E and Juliana in the title, they don't once use the terms in the actual listing. Seems lots of seller on ebay use those brand names (and others) just to get views when they don't really know for sure that's what they have. Search and browse manipulation and all that.

The only thing I know to look for on D&E is figure 8 puddling of the solder and I don't see that on the back of that seller's brooch. JMO though.

D&E and Juliana are probably the most abused keywords in ebay's jewelry category!
