    I have friends live in Bootle, I call it Brutal :cool:

    I worked in Toxteth many years ago too. (the locals were burning it down) :hilarious:

    Hahaha!! I love it!!! Well I’m sure those early settlers weren’t chosen for their brains haha!!! But it does make it seem we are all closer than we think we are.
    Wow SNSVC your town sounds lovely!! I think if I ever won the lottery I would buy one of those all American wooden houses with the front porch and a swing and a big tree for my off spring to run up and down haha!!! And all the houses are painted lovely light colours I would have to put my Union Jack up as well as the American flag hehe!!

    Yes!!! Wow!! Another small world! Yes it’s about 30 minutes away from Chester are you from UK? Or is you uncle from where you’re now? :0)

    Hahaha!!!! Ahhhh you win then!! I just hate being cold and it’s only -1 tonight but when I used to live in Germany the lowest temp was -21 :eek:0 it was way too cold for me haha!!!

    I just google walked along the Roman wall in Chester... looks charming!

    I'm in New England, too, in Massachusetts. Lots of town names around here that I assume had English roots, as well... Chelmsford, Littleton, Pepperell, Westford, Leicester, Carlisle, etc.

    Welcome to the forum! I'm from Southern Ohio (midwestern U.S.). I think you will finds lots of here that love browsing shops and outdoor markets for antiques and collectables. I'd love the Roman ruins and have a few Greek & Roman coins in my hoard.
