    Hi There,
In 1980, my parents purchased at a local auction a Victorian Parlor Set. In my research I am confident that it is a John Henry Belter piece. We have the Men and Ladies chair along with the small sofa. The carvings are in excellent condition. Ladies chair has a noticeable repair where frame meets. The upholstery has some small dark spots but no fading. The sofa has a small tear the back.

We need advice on how finding its value. This pattern does not seem to be popular and I do not know the name. Any advice on how to sell ourselves or referral to a reputable auction house is great appreciated. We live in Phoenix, AZ.

    Thank you!

Very pretty set . May I ask what led you to believe Belter ? Do you have a close up of the wood itself ? I ask because Belter used laminated wood a lot , and the trim on yours looks solid .

If really Belter, New Orleans would be the place to sell. Neal Auction Co. or New Orleans Auction Gallery.
