    Hello folks ,

This is my vintage cherub gold tone lamp that i wanna sell. The lamp is in great condition for it's age with no cracks or chips & with the original lamp shade. I'm from Newark, New Jersey. So please suggest some places/shops (not online) where i can sell it for decent price.

Here are some more info about the lamp.
    1) Measures about 42.5" high in total height from base to top of lamp shade

2)Original lamp shade that measures about 14" wide & about 17" high

    3) 1 light bulb socket

    4) 4 candle-like holders

    5) Heavy metal and marble base

    Hi Achy.

Most folks on this forum are reluctant to give out values since there are so many aspects that go into determining one. The main one being that you really need to have the item in hand. It also would depend on how you are planning on selling the lamp. It will also depend on where you live as something that will not sell in one part of the country would fly off the shelves in another.

Sorry. The way Achy worded the question, Bob Barker and the theme music popped into my head and it made me laugh. :joyful: I wasn't being snippy.

This is 70s and out of fashion most places. I probably could not give it away here in my farm country Midwest location. In CA, it would probably fly off the shelf for decent money.

You have to understand the people on the board are from all parts of the world.
Knowing what shops are available in NJ and what kind of level of competence and honesty is there, is impossible for most of us to know.

How about craigslist? Being near NYC would probably get the right exposure. I realize that you said not on-line but you would probably net the most selling on ebay or CL with local pick up.
