Two or three years ago I bought a lovely little ornate frame with convex glass, I just bought it for the frame, It was £3, Someone had painted it white, It had what I thought was a print in it, It turned to to be a signed painting on Ivory.
I restored the frame by repairing the corners and re-gilding it, I kept it for a short time and later sold it for £350.

The painting was The Morning Walk (Mr and Mrs Anderson) It was painted by Francois ? (I've forgotten the surname)

Edit.....The painting was The Morning Walk but it was Mr & Mrs William Hallet.
