    Hi!!
I have a vintage China Hutch. Possibly antique? I'm not sure. I have looked through tons of articles and images trying to find any info I can without success.
It has a stamp on the back of both top and bottom pieces with YOUNG clearly in the center, but I cant make out the rest of the stamp.
Only the middle two doors open on the top piece. On the bottom all drawers and doors open.
We got it from my husband's grandma. He said he knows she had it at least since he was 5 years old which would've been in the early 80's.
I was wondering if anyone new anything about this hutch and what it may be worth?
    Thank you!!

Welcome, Brittni. This piece does not look to be as old as you might be thinking. "Vintage" when?

To be honest I have no idea. We received her whole estate and she was a collector. She had a ton of very high value items including other furniture we have sold. This is just a piece I couldn't figure out.

"Antique" would be 100 years old. A lot older than this is currently.

I wasnt sure if it was an antique. Vintage online refers to over 20 years.

I said vintage because it's more than 20 years old.

1970s at the earliest, and you cant give these away now.

I'm sorry for your loss, Brittni. Selling it, assuming you don't need or want to keep it, may not be an easy task unless you advertise locally (Craiglist? Offer Up?) and are flexible on price. You're in the US?

    Thank you.
I'm not really attached to it so price isn't a big deal. Have no idea what to ask for it.
I'm in Washington and will be placing it on social media locally. I just had no idea about the piece so it makes it hard to list, hence why I put it up on here.

When I wasn't able to sell a mid-century hutch and a few other pieces, I found a local charity that was willing to pick them up at no charge. Although they didn't bring me cash, I was able to use the donations as a charitable deduction when I filed my taxes that year.

    I agree with johnny 1970s/80s.
It's a lovely piece, but too big for most new homes, or apartments.

70s for sure. This would be a hard sell at any price. Take what you can get for it. We buy china hutches for as little as $25.00 here or find them free at curbside in my Midwest location. Most get painted, with the base sold separately from the top. The tops get turned in to bookcases or are donated to charity. No one wants this tall wide configuration any more.

So put them out for sale separately, then lower the price if someone wants them both as one unit.

Check your area for what people are asking. Go to a few estate sales to see how they are pricing the furniture
estatesale.net and put your area in. You can check pictures to see who has similar style.
