i have a old china set from poland dont know if it is worth anything its from around the 1940s

its a 42 peice set just want to know more about it

If you look closely at the marks examples in the link given above, you will see that this mark is from the 1960's and not from the 40's.

While you have a very pretty set of china, unfortunately it is probably not worth very much. The main reason is that most folks do not entertain like they use to with large dinner parties. They also want dishes that they can stick in the dishwasher & it looks like yours has the silver trim which means it really should be hand washed.

I use to buy all kinds of dishes when I first started selling some 19 years ago, but not anymore. When I do buy them they have to be extremely cheap for me to even consider the pieces.

The consignment shop where I sometimes sell stuff has instituted a new policy where you have to get an approval to consign a whole set of dishes because they were ending up with so many sets that ended up going the whole 90 days with out a sale.
