    What do you mean silver in plastic?
    Do you mean is it coated?

    Try cleaning it with silver polish.

    It could easily have a plastic coating; they do that sometimes to retard tarnish. Lacquer maybe?

    They could have coated it to keep it from tarnishing. Doesn't look like it worked very well.

    You could try boiling it in an old saucepan or tin can, then polish it. Just be careful not to burn yourself.

    Boiling? Can't tell what type of stones or horn that is inlaid on the bracelet.

    None. It's molded with facets from the look of it.

    Estateretstate thinks there is a lacquer sealant on it. Like what they do to copper.
    We used to boil the sealant off of copper, so I was thinking that it would do the same if the silver was coated. Much easier than using lacquer thinner.
    That's why I suggested a tin can or OLD saucepan.

    and preferably outside on the grill in case of fumes.
