Vintage Givenchy Necklace?

I purchased this Givenchy necklace the other day along with some other Givenchy jewelry and other items. The necklace looks to be made out of lucite or plastic beads and 2 lucite pendants. The necklace has the Givenchy name and 4 G's hallmarks on it.

Does anyone know when this necklace was made, where it was made (Givency Paris or New York) and would this be considered a more collectible higher valued necklace or just a regular valued one. I looked at hundreds of Givenchy jewelry images and could not find even I what thought was a close match to evaluate this necklace with. Also, would you just say this is made out of plastic or lucite or both or?

    Thanks!
    Kevin

Wow clutteredcloset49, you found one like it! Thanks! I should have added, the one I have is about 16" in length and about another 1 1/2" with the extender. Would you consider the one I have a choker or a necklace?

    Well, I'm not sure.
The one in the link says it is only 14" and very tight.
16" is the shortest a necklace chain comes in. But that is still pretty tight on some ladies.

Wait for one of the jewelry ladies to give an opinion.

My feeling is it is newer because the clasp is a lobster tail clasp, so I would think not vintage.

    I missed that.
    You're probably correct.

    Hi Marie,
Quick question. Is the clasp a lobster tail or lobster claw?

Greg, you are so right, it's lobster claw :)

Most lobster claws are 1990s or later. How much later in this case is a good question. It's not a new piece, but it's not antique either.
