Yes. So this is certainly late enough not to be of special value, sorry. Here's one of the same vintage in the jacket in the UK:

1951 doesn't seem unreasonable. It also corresponds with the (ongoing) increase in B.P.'s popularity and the release of the collectible Warne Beatrix Potter figurines, which went on for decades.

Some of those figurines are now worth in the hundreds of $s. Unfortuntely, I don't believe the book is worth too much.
