    Welcome Joe,

I've enlarged your pics and moved your post to the furniture section.
1960's is not antique and those style of chairs are not really desirable to be fair.

The Mitchell tag on top is probably the retailer, or the business where these chairs were used. You have four chairs; do any show the label underneath? If not, easy to remove one pin (which can be replaced) to see the label which may allow identification. It is mid century production, but not high end, and based on overall shape and vinyl upholstery I don't think it is scandinavian, the label will tell you more. We see a lot of stuff newer than these on this site, so fine to post. And not extremely desirable, but easier to sell than chairs from the 1890's though (at least here in New England USA).

Unless the chairs have a fire safety label attached complying with BS7177 - which is the British safety specification for resistance to ignition on the vinyl and filling then they will be impossible to sell or donate.

You can keep and use them in this condition or completly reupholster them for resale, but I doubt this would be viable.

The label underneath is a BSI kitemark, which does indicate some quality. I think they'd be very easy to recover, but the shape isn't fashionable. Someone in the trade may well buy them though.

2148 was the bs 1960 license number for Nathan Furniture

that's what the original poster said too, the dating of 1960 that is, back in January.
