Hello, My name is Mikołaj and I'm from Poland. My father bought titled radio (? not sure what a proper english word is) about 10 years ago for pennies. It seems to be working well, I would say that it's in pretty good shape overall, expect of some scratches (none deep) on top of it. I have a few questions. How much could it be worth (I have no intention of selling though), How much could restoration cost? Is there something particularly interesting about it? I'm attaching photos, can shot more anytime. Regards, Mzia. Album of photos Only information i have found
Welcome! You should always post your photos on your thread. Offering links to something we don't know anything about will usually not get someone to take a chance on opening them. ~ I’ve found that this works best for me as photos always load quickly and so I wrote this up to help all. ~ Make your photos 480x640. ~ After your comments are complete drop down a line. ~ Put a squiggle > ~ ~ Drop down a line. ~ Load all your photos, 10 max. ~ At the top of your photo pile there's an option to enlarge them all. (Full Image) ~ Enlarge them. ~ Thank you!
Hola, and welcome, Mzia... Yes, photos here, please. I'm scared of catching a virus from an unknown source.
That is the cutest thing! Here's something to look at... http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/stern_stas_caruso_i_8e157_i.html?language_id=2

yup Sorry, I'm just so used to imgur that i forgot to check forum rules regarding photo-uploads. I think I've found a clue! Tape deck is RTF Smaragd made in Zwointz, East Germany. It seems to be identical with this one: http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/messge_zwo_smaragd_bg202_bg_202.html It seems that it was made in late 50s. Edit: There seems to be a lot of information in german about things made by RFT, sadly, i don't know german
