Dimensions are about 2" x 1/2". Says 1*20*12K GF BAB. I would like to know what these alphanumericals represents. For example does 12K GF mean 12 carat gold foil for its material? Does BAB represent the company name? What does 1*20 represent and what is its decade? Also, I found black on the top, do you think something might have been displayed on the top of this tie clip? Thank you for your assistance in this request. Rob

Gold filled ,the black is lead solder and there was probably something there that fell off.

Would gold filled represent the something that fell off or the tie clip? Thank you. Rob

    1*20 probably means 1/20 grams.
