I received this necklace (along with a few other pieces) from an elderly friend of the family approximately 20 years ago. My research has led me to believe it's an Edwardian era Czech necklace. I assume the beads are glass and the metal is gold filigree. Am I correct? I see no markings of any kind. 20200120_164704.jpg 20200121_103853.jpg Screenshot_20200121-104817_Gallery.jpg 20200120_163318.jpg Screenshot_20200121-104936_Gallery.jpg

More likely brass or gold plated.

Looks more 1920s than edwardian ?

    Agree more 1920s/30s.
I never get the dates straight when things are labeled Georgian, Edwardian, Victorian. And I'm too lazy to keep looking them up.

Thank you everyone! Is there any way in particular that I should clean it?

    It is lovely, Deux Coeurs.
Both.:) Gilt brass, with some loss of the gilding. Bohemian/Czech, my guess is 1910s-early 20s.

I'm with Bohemian 1920s, brass and glass. Buy a Sunshine cloth and use it gently on this. You could probably do a quick vinegar dunk as long as you rinse and dry it well. (Hair dryer)

Oh yes, if you get it wet you have to dry it thoroughly. Damp can cause corrosion :(
