I meant roll. Actually, I didn't know it was roll and not role.

Attended an estate auction. Purchased a 15 gallon McCoy crock, really heavy ...... I must have lost my marbles to buy something so big and bulky. I really like it; but what was I thinking?

Also got some Roseville & Hull Pottery for a fantastic price! Here is quick picture of the Roseville (Donatello jardinière and 2 hanging baskets).

It had to happen eventually. I went out early this morning and...bingo. A small amount of scrap gold, Hopi sterling earrings, a Renoir copper bracelet, and some tiny little tortoiseshell kiddie size bracelets that tonight bet up with some of the freshwater "rice" pearls from the scrap metal. Some crystal beads jumped in too. Added ear hooks and ... voila. DSCF1753.JPG DSCF1748mini.jpg

Are those vintage pool of lights? 1.5 pair? Coral necklace? :) the hoops are gorgeous!

Dichroic glass; pools of light are banded orbs of rock crystal. These are just blobs of mass-produced Chinese glass. The coral is legit and has a 14k clasp on it. That was a surprise.

Got this too. Hull Art Pottery. These used to sell for $50-60 ten years ago and nowadays you can't give them away. I got this piece for $7.50 with a bunch of other junk. Guess I'll hold onto it for a while and hope the market recovers somewhat.

Found some coin today at a big chain thrift store in a junk bag for $2.99. Sunday is typically a terrible day for picking at this store.

If I saw them at a thrift (or anywhere else) it's very unlikely I'd recognize them for what they are.
