Maybe this search will help you find info:
    glass quilted diamond lamp

Hopefully you can find one with original label/sticker.

Definitely not a lantern. Strictly a lamp and doubt it was ever an oil lamp. Like Laura said, "quilted diamond" or ruby diamond quilted lamp. Believe Fenton as well as others made such lamps.

I think that this lamp might be amber painted red. As such I'm afraid it doesn't hold much value regardless of who made it. It's really not cranberry or flashed - just sprayed. These were popular in the 80's and 90's in milk glass, amber, and amber sprayed red. I'm sorry I do not know who manufactured these originally.

Brooke Glass, Wellsburg, WV, made this pattern and these lamps.

Brooke Glass went out of business in the last 10 years, or at least the factory was cleaned out then. These were made probably between 1970 and 2005, or so.

I'm thinking the proper name for the color application is stain, not flash.
And never put stained glass in the dishwasher or use really hot water to clean as it will cause the stain to lift off.
