    True enough. She was 16, so she had a good long run. Her littermate, Louise, has officially taken over her duties of sleeping on my bed when I'm not in it.

    Hi Evely,
    I know your pain. These creatures that share our lives are a God send. These two little ones sat on my feet while I ate tonight. My broken heart is starting to heal. They looked at me like they knew.

    My particular parrot's species' lifespan is 30-35. He's 32. That scares me.
