    Hi Pat,
I have found that cats learn their names faster with an "e" sound at the end. I have had Fred and Ethel. The weirdest was I had a pure bred Siamese female which I named Eisenhower. I wanted names which no one else had. Of all the cats which I have had perhaps over 20 since age 5 the smartests always had names that ended with the E sound.

Greg! Love the little fur babies! Good on you for adopting them. After studying the pictures, The name I picked out ( sadly they don't fit your criteria) would be Mitzy and Skeeter.
But if you need the eeeeee sound.....How about Andy and Mandy!

    Hi,
For all of you who have wonderful names. The one now is leaning towards Annie and Tony. They were my other halfs grandparents, go figure. It all depends on my MIL. If she okays it ....perhaps. In the mean while I have named the tortoise in my yard as Skeezixs. Rip Don.

Oh wow Greg! The three of you have lots of curtain climbing fun ahead! They both look full of vim and vigor!

I haven't scrolled through the entire thread, so maybe these names are already up.

    Hi Greg -
I had never heard that about cats being able to learn their names faster with an "e" sounding name.
I have 2 with "e" sounds and now 2 without.
I don't think Maggie or Toby are any smarter than Jack or Periwinkle. And Oliver(RIP) was as smart as they come. Understood everything I said to him.

But if you have had a Fred and Ethel - then of course that just won't do.

You could of course call one Freddie and the other Steady. Then when you call them to dinner you would be calling Steady Freddie:rolleyes:

So glad you found these little bundles - they are adorable.

Not couples, but these first and last names would work:
    Buddy and Holly
    Katie and Perry
