I used to sit on the base of the Peter Styvesant statue outside my first grammar school in Jersey City. He was good company. Does that count?

Hmmmm, I wonder if "maybe" the dress/costume on the man might be depicting Breton (Brittany) attire. ;)

Very cute dish KOT. Can you get them down a bit in price?

Can't help you with what it is worth but I see your thrift does like mine by putting a glued sticker right where the pattern is. One thrift store I used to go would put a larger heavily glued sticker on the back or bottom and covered the markings or stampings so no one could see important stuff. Made me so mad.

Good luck if you decide to make the purchase.

I might get a reduction for it's been there 2 months...

I don't think they ever cover anything intentionally but I have seen this done elsewhere. :( :p

I'm guessing it dates to the late 50s to mid 60s.

I like them too so enjoyed the show from backstage. :)
I was taking stuff apart, then helped disassemble and pack the piano.
Next I was sent to their dressing room to pack up any unsold T shirts. While doing that Steve came in, said Hi! and thanks, then gave me a shirt . :)
My step sister went Berserkly when she found out.
    Hee-hee. :)

    HOLY ****HOLE !

I bought a very nice-looking cast iron pig-with-wings decorative "sculpture" a couple of years ago for 10€ and it is the exact same size and model as the following two:

    http://auction.catawiki.com/kavels/...cast-iron-sculpture-of-a-white-pig-with-wings

    Winning bid 130€ ???

    https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/38208279_vintage-cast-iron-painted-pig-with-wings-bank

    Estimate 100-150$ ????

The first one is at least not very vintage and I doubt the second one is either.. and the prices are still shocking!

I gave the pig to my parents because I didn't have enough storage, but I've been thinking about getting it back and now even more so..

Another unattributed Ebay find for me. These were in Canada so shipping wasn't so bad and quite a bargain overall.

Welz mini vases (2.5" tall) in a Pink Honeycomb Decor. Most of the honeycomb decor I have see has a black rim treatment, so I am not sure if these have been cut down.

Just a quick edit. I just received confirmation that these were not cut down or altered. These are in fact they way they were intended to be. :)

@Bakersgma - This is one Welz decor that I really like. I was in the right place at the right time.

@evelyb30 - I spend quite a bit of time looking through listings to try to find unattributed pieces. The best is when they have a "Buy it now" option like these did. Our Canadian Dollar is in a slump and shipping to Canada is outrageous (even worse with the Global Shipping Program) and this is one way I can get some good glass at a price I can live with (I paid $26.00 USD for the pair and that included shipping)

    Lovely little vases, d_f!

I do the same thing with vintage jewelry listings - plow through in hopes of spotting the mistakes. There was a maker named Delizza and Elster who never marked a thing, unless they were making it under contract for someone else. Some of their gaudier stuff is worth a small fortune. If you're in Canada, keep your eye peeled for sparkly stuff with Sherman on the back. It was a Canadian brand with relatively low output, and now high demand.
