Just old. The label looks 1930s to 1950s.

Can't see the actual item well because you have photographed it towards a bright light.

thanks all! I thought those same things, but I know nothing about antiques. 30s to 50s makes sense the house was built in the 40s and all this furniture has been here since then. I just want it all gone, I just didn't want to put a $20 price on something worth more.

    I agree 1930s-40s.
    Walnut? burl veneer front.

Store price in CA about $100.

Estate sale, I'd start at $50 and except an offer.

A basic internet search didn't turn up a whole lot about Berkeley Square Fine Furniture, but I did find an ad from a 1956 newspaper:

"Berkeley Square" Genuine Mahogany Bedroom Suite
Make up your own personalized bedroom group in open stock, genuine mahogany pieces from our ' "Berkeley Square" collection special at 249.00 is the double dresser, plate mirror, and full size bed shown above

The photo is pretty small & blurry, but it's the set on the left toward the top - right above the $249 price...

(I didn't mean to imply that the set listed is like your item - I just wanted to offer a time frame for the company that made it....)

Can't add much more to what the others have said above. Condition is important on these. Missing veneer will hurt value. In good condition, cleaned, and touched up, you might be able to get that $100.00 or nearly so. As is and with minor missing veneer, you are probably under $50.00.
