Don't for a moment believe those date to 1945. I seen no reason why they wouldn't be contemporary to the frames which are late 1970s/early 1980s.

The date of 1945 was only referring to what was written in the Ebay auction.

The black Ebay frame with thin gold edging could be vintage--looks a bit later than mid 40s to my eye, but who knows what style they were using to frame in Thailand. Could be newer, or maybe the numbers are from something else.

Agree that the OP's frames look unmistakably 1970s/80s. They are 100% "US" in style, rather than a "Thai" style, so if these were sold in the US, that would date them.

At least we found something a bit similar. She can google "3D Thai Temple Rubbing" and go from there to get price comparisons.

I'm thinking 1970s decorative art. Before accepting anything in a settlement, get it appraised by an expert in the field.

I'm not certain that..."were left behind to me from a divorce".....sounds like part of the settlement ???

    I agree.
    1945 could be a code.
