Does anyone know what this is. I think it could be wash basin as it has a hole in the pottery basin that flows through to the ground beneath the pedestal. Any ideas? WP_20160525_13_11_25_Pro.jpg

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

I would guess baptismal or christening set-up if the basin were white.

It's not old; it may have been made that way to start with.

I don't think they go together.

The bowl looks Chinese or Japanese.
The pedestal thing looks Arts and Crafts era to me.

How about more pics of the pedestal without the bowl on it...? Someone here should be able to ID it for you.

    Yo Yogi?
I finally got to Yogi Berra's museum in Paterson, NJ last October....two days after he passed away. :(

I think it is a newer sink from Asia.

The base is typical Asian design, not Arts and Crafts.
Don't know what the wood is. Not anything we would normally find in our furniture.

Thanks for all the welcoming messages! It turns out it is a modern Chinese basin. Thanks for all the input!
