Staffordshire Stoneware Platter HB & Co.

    Hello:

    I found this at a thrift store and I am unsure if it's authentic or not.
    If anyone has any information, I would greatly appreciate it.

    It does have a chip on the side and a dimple in the pattern.
    It's 14 1/4" x 17 7/8".

    Godden shows H.B. & Co. as Harvey Bailey & Co. (1833-5) or Henry Brown & Co. (1828-30). Looks good to me. Blue Willow pattern.

    The dimple on the front is a stilt mark from the kiln. If you search the surface you should find at least 2 more. Way back, they stacked the pieces in the kiln upside down so the stilt marks appear on the front. No idea when they stopped that.

    You are correct. Thank you.
    There are a total of 3 Stilt marks.
    Bottom center which is the picture I posted and then 2 at the top one on each top corner.
