Hello, Thanks for reading this. I'm new to the antiques market and must admit that I do not know a whole lot. It has been thrust upon me as my family is trying to make some room by getting rid of old "stuff" that has mostly been sitting in boxes which came from my grand parent house when they died. I have a whole host of old books, dishware, records, medals and generally pretty random stuff. We're trying to sell it but are a little unsure about how to price things or where to sell them. Any help anyone provides is greatly appreciated. Cheers Alex
Hi Alex and welcome! I'm sure people will be happy to try to help give you ideas on what you might have and how you might try selling. Best to post some clear photos and give details such as size, markings etc. I see you say "Cheers" so are you in the UK?
welcome Alex..... While we can help you look for current values , I'll just offer that any items with a Maritime subject will likely do best if sold close to home.
I haven't put too much up there yet, I think the books are the main thing http://maine.craigslist.org/bks/5594362944.html I've also started an Etsy Shop for somethings I didn't think would sell locally
Well there are a bunch of Canadians here so hopefully you'll feel right at home. Really other than it's fun to know where people are from it also can be helpful in making recommendations. I love hearing "cheers" myself
Greetings, Alex! Lots of good advice to be had here - and great people to give it! (As you can already tell, I suspect.)
