    Some Art Nouveau Revival pieces are nice, especially those Mucha ladies, of which this lovely could be one. Her headdress shows the late 19th century Slavic Revival influence Mucha was known for.

    Before reading the replies, my suggestion would have been Austrian. Although the hair is definitely in La Style Mucha, I find the face and headdress rather monumental, more in a Secessionist vein. Maybe that dichotomy should have set off alarms.

    Give it a wipe with a damp piece of old towel, that will take crud off, but not patina.

    Okay all,I confess ! I just had to clean her,and Im not sorry ! I think it stands out much better now. Of course I wouldnt had she been period , Im not THAT much a fanatic . :)
