I had at one time had this posted on the Bay board, maybe some of you might remember.
It is Brass and about 3" tall including top.
Here is where i get lost.
The writing is in Farsi old script writing, and translates to
    Mostafa Khan on one side
    The other side reads Pakistan.
Pakistan has it's own language so why written in Farsi?
This just doesn't make sense to me.
I was told it is some kind of perfume bottle, but no idea on age.

Pakistan does not really have a language, just an assortment of dialects although Urdu and English are official languages.

Since Pakistan is a modern creation the object can't be more than about 60 years old. In all probability no older than the period of van loads of hippie tourists to that region in the 1960s.

In concept, but you'd not get much reference to it in popular culture such as this type of artifact till well after partition in '47.

Morning! I, too, thought this is a more modernish/vintage type item. So I went googling.....

I found this blip on a particular Mostafa Kahn - it's not an uncommon name. If you scroll through all the blah, blah, blah in the OCR text, this Kahn has something to do with cosmetics.

I could not see the reference in the OCR stuff but I really have to agree with this

"Iom Line Fund raising because it offers a tun itiiiinuiiiauti! niniwiinitiiti imtmnnHanmrm t Hirtntrtti rHiin.tmmnutm irsuhi ttntrntnagmiuHwirmuDinmii w reasonable economic base for con"

The reply seems brief and to the point. "Kahn said. III mlmm i THIMMUTIC" which I think says it all, really.
