I'm excited about sharing this thrift store find piece of militaria because of the human interest story involved.

It's been a while since I read all the farewells to Major Pat Corbin, which collectively paint a picture. Perhaps some of you will care to sift through the photos and help me piece together the puzzle.

I'm wondering what Pat Corbin and the others went on to do in the US military and in life. Are (or were) some prominent figures? Were any tragically killed in action? Is someone who signed this, or a friend or family member, reading this thread?

I'm terrible at deconstructing penmanship, especially signatures, so I can use all the help I can get! I am unfamiliar with some of the military abbreviations as well. Finally, I'm wondering about the artist and if the air force base no longer has the confederate flag pictured in the artwork. Thanks, all!
