Wooden pail, with kitchen implements

    Going through more stuff today in preparation for a move later this year, I came across this wooden pail with lid.

    Inside was an antique bottle opener, ladle holder, and a jar opener, I assume.

    I think this would be called a firkin and would have been made to collect maple syrup. Looks to be in good condition. They sell pretty decently depending on size, condition and whether they are painted or not.

    I wondered if it was one of those, as I found a few examples online. This one is not painted.
