Help identifying artist.

If anyone could give some information on the artist and painting please.

Welcome, Tarik Hussein. I cannot see a signature or date on the painting. Can you provide a close up picture of them to help us help you?

We normally also like to see the reverse of any art work here.

 

It appears to be a print on board stuck in a old frame. Definitely need to see a pic of the back.

Too large. No problem. Email them to yourself using the medium option. The Support and Testing Forum has some posts that describe this for both iPhone and androids. I open the email on my laptop so I can download the photos and work with them.

I could see them. I was hoping to help you by flipping the signature and adding some filters, but it wouldn't let me resize them to upload them.

 

We would see them better if you would use the "camera icon" (called "Media Gallery Embed") in the reply toolbar to have them appear in the reply itself instead of the links you attached.

 

1880 would make it an antique, at least.

The FRWS at the end of the signature is "fellow of the Royal Watercolour society" so your painting is probably British. The name appears to be ?? Worth or ends in ..worth (like Heyworth or something) - and of course it's dated 1880.

 

Too funny! I read "Paris." (And work isn't a watercolor, is it?)

Interesting... yep it’s a oil painting. Looks Italian to me but couldn’t work out the signature
