    This piece is signed on the back, but the only thing I am sure of is the word Italy. I think it is 202 of 558 & the initials are possibly M.C. :confused::confused::confused:

    Does anyone have Walter's book?

    It is 17 3/4" across. I know it is probably not really that old, but it is nicely done & would be in great shape if some Bozo hadn't used one of those metal plate hangers. :mad::mad::mad:

    I do have two of Walter's books, the one on Faenza and Marks from Cantagallli to Fornasetti.

    For what it's worth your mark looks like F02/0558 to me. In the books I don't see anything using the initials M.C. There are three using M.G. but none really look like yours but here they are.

    Thanks SIS!! :kiss::kiss:

    I did check the website & did not see anything.

    I will try posting it to their forum to see if Walter can help & will update this thread if I find out anything.

    I have seen Walter replying to a couple of other threads, so I thought I would give this one another try. :happy::happy:

    I have no idea who the maker is. The design isn't of Italian origin so I must assume that the plate was created under contract with a firm that owned the design rights.

    Hi Walter,
    Thank you for saying that design is not Italian. It is a common design from Pennsylvania. Ring necked pheasents and pumpkins typical PA design
