Hello Joeys369369 and Welcome! What you have is usually titled a cabinet plate or a display plate. Most people consider a dinner plate part of a full dinner service. It is very nice but personally I would need to see a picture of the mark to have a chance at identifying it. It looks to be in very good condition - someone recognized it as a desirable object and framed it.

Thank you for new photo. I looked through my British marks book (Godden) and my general marks book (Kovels) but couldn't turn it up. Nonetheless, I agree with you that it's probably English and quite old. We have a number of Brits on the board and they know far more about English porcelain than I can ever hope to know. Hopefully, one of those kind folks can provide further assistance. I think you may have a real treasure there.

I'm guessing the RW&W mark are the painters rather than the potters. If that's true, the artwork part could have been done anywhere.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

The page that s_i_s posted indicated that R.W.W.&Co. were the painters on that one.

Could it be Rudolf Wachter? On Chris' Porcelain Marks and More site, he states that there was a period of time when there was no known mark for his decorating company. Later he used RW and RWK.
