    Possibly! I just don't think the hole facing down (where the right foot would be) makes sense for a wall pocket.

    No way these are wall pockets. Just another bizarre ID/key word that made the rounds of eBay and got proliferated without justification. Where are you going to be able to plant something in one of those tiny holes?

    And that is what is probably missing, the other foot.

    This might be late 1800s, early 1900s. Any one else think she has a bound foot. I noticed in the link how out of proportion the foot is.
