What kind of necklace is this? 31 inches long

    I have one of those from the 70's.

    It's a seed necklace..........& don't ask me what kind of seeds !! :sour:

    Some of the seeds used for those necklaces turned out to be highly poisonous. Give me a day or two I might think of the name of this kind of seed.....and whether it is one of the poisonous ones.....

    The large seeds could be Ininti Seed.

    Camandula, rosary pea and abrus are all poison seeds. Your seeds are darker and I don't know if these fall into the same poison category. Still, I would be careful if there are toddlers around.

    Seems like a good possibility. Ininti seeds come from the batwing coral tree, native to Australia, and are often used in aboriginal-made Australian jewelry, but could also be used in non-Australian jewelry I'm sure.
    The seeds are indeed poisonous.
