    Hey everyone,
My dad is looking for a bottle like the one in the picture below. He has the box and paperwork, but he does not have the bottle that went with it. The glass bottle is a picnic flask made by Dixie Glass Works in Tallapoosa, GA around 1906. I have attached a picture of the item to this post. I have searched all online, and I cannot find any like it. My dad asked that I reach out and try to find it. I appreciate all of your help and any suggestions you can provide!

I think Worthpoint has added all those "similar" items to the file. They are not necessarily from the same eBay seller.

    Thanks. I didn’t understand that.

You're welcome, Kiko. I've rarely (if ever) been able to figure out the eBay seller's ID from an archived listing on Worthpoint.

Thank you for your replies! This has been a hard item to find so far, and I know it may take some time to find.

You may want to set up searches on eBay using different descriptive words so that if something should get listed you would receive an alert to check it out.

It’s perfectly fine to comment on an older thread.

The way to check when a member was last here, look at their Avatar where I’ve circled.

Or the date when the post was made is at the bottom left of each post.

Like I said, it’s fine, but you may be doing research for someone that may not be active on the Forum anymore. :)

I have several of these bottles in my possession, complete with the coal smoke patina, and wrapped in what I believe is the original paper (based on the conditino). If you're still in search of one, feel free to send me a private message.
    Best!
