komokwa The Truth is out there...!

James Campbell Noble was born in Edinburgh on 22 July 1845, the son of James Noble and Rachel Campbell.

Three of his cousins were also artists: Robert Noble RSA (1857–1917), James Inglis Noble (1853-1912), and David Noble (1865-1890). J.C. Noble possibly taught all three cousins.

    ??????????

To me the piece does not look to be that old to have been done by some of the JC Noble cousins.
So I guess by a local artist.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

I don't love the mess they leave, but I love the beauty and gracefulness of Canadian Geese!! On B.I., there was a pair that 'befriended' us and got to let us hand feed them, eventually brought their young to our family as well!! But they were also 'ever alert' to their young!! What an amazing experience!!! That's a beautiful watercolor!!!!

I agree that the art is too new to be the David Noble cousin. I searched and could not find any other possibilities. Odd that we can find nothing on this artist. He is obviously accomplished.
