Mount Carbon ale was produced between 1933 and 1951. Seeing it has the word ALE stamped on it I would assume the opener was made between those years. No idea for an actual price though.

I remember this style opener; very easy to get them imprinted for promotional use.
I found a bit about the Mount Carbon brewery; this would be pre-1976 for sure, and 1933-1951 sounds about right.

I'd say not much unless it's an exceptionally rare bottler. This type is all over the place since they were/are tough.
I probably have at least 2 here.

They almost have to give these style openers away on Ebay. I'd put a wire brush to in and throw it in my kitchen drawer!

This style of bottle opener is called wire formed. The following website is a dedicated bottle opener site. A good 1/2 way down the page to the section "2016 Handbook" are links catalogs, descriptions and prices of their bottle openers. The first file "Handbook pictures" has pictures of wire form openers like yours on page 58' figs E6-E14 and page 60' figs. 23, 25, 26, 29. On page 6 is a short description of wire formed openers saying:

"Same concept as the cap lifters, but the handles are often open. They look like the safety lollipops we had as kids. ... At least the lifter part of this type appears to be formed from round strings of wire, not flat like the "Cs"."

The file titled "Handbook Listings" has dates of the wire formed openers from the catalog. I'm not sure what those dates represent.

The fike on the far right "Prices and Number of Listings" has the prices. You really need to scroll down to reach the "Es."

Odd that there are only 4 from NJ on their pages.
I do know of Lembeck & Betz in Jersey City and of course, Bud is based in Newark.
I do know of this one for L&B>

King, your opener with the bathing girl in pictured on page 7, fig. A1. In the file "Handbook Listings" page 1, the first listed it says:

"A 001-0000, 1978, A-1 BATHING GIRL, MERMAID OR SURF-GIRL, CLOTHED GIRL (BATHING GIRL), NUDE GIRL (MERMAID), CLOTHED GIRL (SURF-GIRL), MARKED “C.T.& O.CO. PATD.CHICAGO” OR “PATD.”, DESIGNED BY HARRY L. VAUGHAN, DESIGN PATENT NO. 46,762 (12/08/1914), 2 7/8”, DON BULL "
