BMRT Jewelry cherry-picker, lover of silver

Overtime with online finds as I’ve no opportunity lately to go hunt in person. The thrill of locating something is diminished somewhat but I’m still happy for these additions to my David Andersen collections.

F719F226-B1D9-40B9-BF10-B10A889DE75C.jpeg The blues, silvers and whites all also from the same company. The white clips rigged on the silver wires complete the only parure I’ve managed to put together in any of the leaf designs. I now have the brooch, necklace, bracelet and finally the earrings. :)

And this which is not Norway silver but still brought a smile to me because of how it was random to find. No marks except for the sterling on the back. 35949A46-65C3-46A6-BAB1-0407728004FF.jpeg 5FD622A8-ADA1-4838-8906-1E2714DABEA0.jpeg

I went skip diving today. Photo to follow, but grabbed two really nice Chinese bronze pot stands. And a garden pot. With consent, I hasten to add.

    Hi Marie,
Your white engagement ring ring looks a lot like mine only mine has no spinels and instead of a diamond mine has a really pale ruby. It just says white gold on the inside. I found mine in my back yard while I was digging in the garden.

Went thrifting and got this McCoy vase on 50% off day. Fairly surprised.

Same here - says the total cheapskate. (LOL) It's hard to even pay thrift store prices when you're used to yard sales and finding it in the back 40!

    Hi,
I always find things in th ground while I am digging except here there is nothing but sand. I have dug down three feet here and just found sand. I put all the plants in here but the house here never had any plantings so no finds. I keep saying I am going to get another metal detector. Probably 6" from where I am digging there is treasure:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:. The best thing I ever dug up was a nice old Mason jar filled with Russian bills from the 1900s
There was about 70 bills in the jar. It wasn't much but to a 12 year kid it seemed like a chest full of pirate treasure.:eek:

Oh my, sand, don’t get me started!

Here on Cape Cod that is all we have. We live on what was a dune ages ago. If we want to plant anything first thing we have to do is get a soil delivery. And we are on a dirt road, AKA sand :wideyed:

Around here all I ever found was rocks. I think this was woods, pasture and back to woods again. You'll find the occasional bottle cap or maybe a nail, but that's about all. If you're lucky. I do better on the floor by the checkout in CVS.

Just a guess of course, but looks like it would fit me, so a 4 or a 6.

I find the odd bit of Roman tile in the garden. Excavated a load of Victorian bottles from my parents' front garden. In London, you start with archaelogical surveys for any new development. ;)

That's my favorite, too! Classic Marilyn Monroe.

    Garment measurements: B36" - W26" - H38"
    It's tagged a US size 10, but that's a 1970's size 10... this dress is more like a 6/8.
I'm never able to fit into the lovely vintage/antique garments I handle.

    Thanks for letting me know!

Ooooh, this immediately made me think of my oldest daughter who was an MP in the US Army. Their insignia is crossed pistols. :)

Your pendant is crossed rifles, however, so.... infantry, I believe?
